MSD Chapel Hill 7th and 8th Grade

Chapel Hill 7th And 8th Grade Center case study provided by Cannon IV, a Flex Technology Group company

“The amazing thing about Cannon IV is that before we even paid them, they did an inventory of everything we had. They gave us a great comparison of what we were spending and what we would save.”

Jeff Hubble

Principal, Chapel Hill 7th and 8th Grade Center

PREVIOUS SOLUTIONS

The Chapel Hill 7th and 8th Grade Center is a part of the Metropolitan School District of Wayne Township in Indianapolis, Indiana. The middle school has over 80 teachers and serves a student population of 1300. In this age of increasing demands and tight budgets, school districts everywhere are constantly looking for ways to control operational expenses so they can redirect funds into the education processes.

Chapel Hill 7th and 8th Grade Center needed to implement a new printing strategy for a new building. They wanted to manage printing expenses in a secure and efficient environment

OUR SOLUTIONS

Cannon IV installed Hewlett-Packard multifunction devices and Capella Technologies software solutions. Additionally, Cannon IV adjusted the system by dividing the school’s 1300 students into teams. Working off of that concept, they created “team preparation rooms.” There are now seven teams of teachers at the school with two teams sharing each room with dedicated printers for each team. Each department with instructors teaching elective classes, such as band or art, has its own HP printer and MFP.
