Originally founded in 1978 as Marimon Business Systems, we have provided comprehensive business solutions and award-winning technology services to Houston for over 4 decades. After joining the Flex Technology Group (FTG) family of companies in 2017, we have since expanded our company to the Houston, Dallas, Texarkana, and El Dorado marketplaces where we continue to establish ourselves as an industry innovator focused on amazing customer service.
Our relationship with Flex Technology Group has been a game-changing combination for the Marimon team and has allowed us to offer our customers, partners, and employees the benefits of a larger organization and expanded scope of solutions and services. Thus, in efforts to more closely align our business and identity with FTG, we have since changed our name to FTG Texas (FTG-TX), effective July 1, 2020.
As FTG-TX transitions to this next phase of growth, there will only be one result: seamless, quality service. Our goal remains the same, which is to bring the best partners in the industry to you. Ron Nielson holds three decades of executive sales leadership from well-known companies such as IKON and Ricoh. Joining Flex Technology Group as Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2018, he was brought on to further enhance the company’s customer-centric approach to create innovative, value-based solutions. A complete professional and expert in his field, Nielson is the epitome of transformative sales leadership. It’s his extremely outcome-driven mentality and focus on people development that have supported FTG’s success during the organization’s period of hyper-growth. Located in Houston, Texas, he is now President of FTG-TX and will continue to deliver business growth, develop his people, and takes great care of customers.

Andrew Franz is a highly effective financial executive with over 30 years of experience in accounting, operations, and marketing. He served as the controller for the company for 13 years when it was still Marimon Business Systems. Franz stepped into his current role as Vice President of Finance in 2018 and maintains this crucial aspect of the business today for FTG Texas (FTG-TX).
Director of Service, FTG-TX
Randy Lipscomb is an experienced service manager with a longstanding history of working in the information technology and services industry. Joining the company in 2013, he brings with him over 30 years of expertise. Now Director of Service at FTG-TX, he is responsible for the Houston, Dallas, Texarkana, and El Dorado marketplaces. Randy supports all Field Service Representatives throughout the region and works closely with the sales team to ensure a high degree of customer service, satisfaction, and retention are achieved.
